Building on the foundation of the intercessors who have prayed over this region for decades, the Santa Barbara House of Prayer exists to daily represent our city, churches, nation and world to God and to daily represent God’s presence, love and power to our city. Our goal is to become a culture and community of faith, hope and love, open 7 days a week in the heart of Santa Barbara, in service to, and in participation with the greater community of believers within the County of Santa Barbara. We will create an environment where the Church of Santa Barbara can come together to pray and worship, and be encouraged and equipped to bring the Glory of God to the city.
We work with churches and ministries who desire to create a city-wide prayer strategy and a schedule for praying believers. We will also host a network of services and ministries, offering a variety of clinics, classes and conferences with a general assembly on Friday Nights.
